A strange red sky in Brooklyn
As Katie and I were going out for dinner in Brooklyn we saw this amazing red sky. So did a lot of other people too, there were crowds on the street taking photographs and people on their mobile phones telling other people about it. I have never seen anything like it. The sky was a deep, deep red and the clouds were like lots of fingers pointing down towards us. It was fascinating and very surreal. Just wanted to share this. I now have this photo as my desktop background, unfortunately, I don’t think it does real justice to just how amazing the sky was that night. There was a strong red glow cast on everything.
I heard one guy talking into his phone telling someone to ‘get their ass down’ as something very strange was going on. I don’t know what caused it, but would be interested in hearing your ideas!
